Indutrade acquires Norwegian instrument company

Report this content

On 1 July Indutrade signed an agreement to acquire all of the shares in Finisterra AS (www.finisterra.no) with annual sales of approximately 50 MNOK.

Finisterra is a niche technical trading business offering test- and measurement instruments from leading suppliers to customers in Norway and Sweden. The product offering is focused on moisture measurement instruments, but also includes other types of measurement equipment, as well as pumps. The offering is complemented by service, instrument calibration, and training.

The closing takes place today and Finisterra will be a subsidiary to Indutrade’s company Elma Instruments, which is part of the Industrial Components Business Area. Elma Instruments is one of the market leaders in Scandinavia within the field of handheld instruments for test- and measurement. The acquisition of Finisterra will strengthen Elma Instrument’s product offering and market position.

The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive effect on Indutrade’s earnings per share.
