Infratek awarded contract in Finland

Infratek, with the business area Central Infrastructure, has been awarded a contract with Finnish national power grid company Fingrid, for the extension of three 110 kV substations.

The substations are located in the surroundings of Oulu city.

The value of the contract is about EUR 2 million and work will start immediately. The substations will be completed at the end of 2013. The turn-key delivery includes construction of new 110 kV switchyards, protection and auxiliary systems.

According to regulations the other tenders have the right to lodge complaints for three weeks. The contract cannot be signed prior to the expiration of this period and prior to the evaluation of any complaints.
