Infratek to build substations for Fortum

Infratek, with the business area Central Infrastructure, has been awarded a contract with Fortum Distribution for turnkey delivery of two 130 kV substations.

The substations are located in Tanum and Backa/Årgäng in Sweden. Rabbalshede Kraft will build two wind farms which makes it necessary for Fortum Distribution to reinforce the grid with these two substations.

The value of the contract is approx. SEK 40 million. The work will commence immediately and be completed in August 2014.

According to regulations the other tenders have the right to lodge complaints for 10 business days. The contract cannot be signed prior to the expiration of this period and prior to the evaluation of any complaints.
