Johan Rask is appointed CEO of Insplorion
The Board of Insplorion announces today that it has appointed Johan Rask as the new CEO of Insplorion with effect from 1 February 2022. Johan Rask has extensive experience from previous employments and assignments, and the Board considers that he is the right person to drive the company's commercialization work into a new phase.
In connection with the current CEO Patrik Dahlqvist being offered interesting opportunities in another industry, the board has after the summer conducted a dialogue with Patrik about the company's needs and focus in the future. Together, it has been concluded that this is now an appropriate time to implement this change. Patrik will continue as CEO until Johan Rask takes office on February 1, 2022.
“With a clear goal to drive business, processes and results, Johan Rask has the right profile as the new CEO of Insplorion. We are convinced that with his leadership, analytical ability, and experience of business development in technology-intensive companies such as Abigo Medical and Mölnlycke Healthcare, he can make a strong contribution to the company's development in the coming years. At the same time, we would like to thank Patrik for his solid efforts to develop Insplorion from a concept to an established company, and wish him every success in his new assignment”, says Jonas Ehinger, Chairman of the Board of Insplorion.
“I am very proud and happy to have the board's confidence to lead Insplorion further together with the team, our partners and not least our customers. We have an exciting time ahead of us where we will work together intensively to further commercialize Insplorion's unique technology ", comments incoming CEO Johan Rask.
"It is with mixed feelings that I have now chosen to leave this fantastic team and company. My confidence in the company is unchanged positive and I am very happy that Johan Rask takes over and continues this journey. The really big steps are still ahead of Insplorion", comments Patrik Dahlqvist, outgoing CEO.
In recent years, Insplorion has grown and developed in its business areas, where a hydrogen sensor has also been added. Together with the battery sensor, these position the company even more clearly as a factor in the transition to fossil-free and efficient energy systems.
