WORLD CUP ‘FEAST OFF’ AT LANCASHIRE’S TWELVE RESTAURANT
World Cup ‘Dads and Lads night’ (Mums and Daughters welcome too!)
LANCASHIRE’S Twelve Restaurant is hosting an international ‘feast off’ during England’s first World Cup football match as the nation’s favourite fish and chips goes head to head with America’s burger and fries. With the England v USA game playing on the big screen, management at Twelve, based at Marsh Mill in Thornton Cleveleys will be welcoming families who are looking for an evening with a difference on Saturday June 12th as the entire country goes into football overdrive. After pledging allegiance by choosing which main course to opt for, customers can celebrate or commiserate with a good old English trifle or traditional American doughnut for dessert. There will also be face painting and a huge raffle, proceeds of which will go to the award-winning restaurant’s favourite charity, Trinity Hospice. Caroline Upton, Front of House Proprietor at Twelve Restaurant, said: “As part of our tenth birthday celebrations here at Twelve we want to get our customers into the spirit of the World Cup. “The atmosphere will be electric and the evening will be a chance for the whole family to enjoy great food and, hopefully, great football.” Tickets cost £15 per person and pre-booking is essential. Doors open at 6.30pm.
