Latour acquires Neuffer in Germany

Investment AB Latour has today, through its wholly owned company Latour-Gruppen AB, acquired 66.1 percent of the shares in Neuffer Fenster + Türen GmbH in Germany. The transaction will be completed on January 1st 2016.

Neuffer Fenster + Türen sells windows and doors online through its established e-commerce portals fensterversand.com, fenetre24.com and fönster24.com. Neuffer shows considerable growth through a strong position in its growing niche. Latour and the founder Philipp Neuffer will jointly continue to drive the growth of the company, e.g., through geographical expansion.

The acquisition will be regarded as an other investment directly under Latour. As in all our investments, Latour will take an active ownership role in the company. This is a further step for Latour into the digital world in a category that is close to many of our current investments and we foresee that Neuffer will contribute with valuable digitalization knowledge to our other businesses in the future. The acquisition sum is 18.25 MEUR. Neuffer has 24 employees and an expected turnover of 13 MEUR in 2015 and show a profitability of 3 percent in a strong growth phase.
