Fredrik Meuller is appointed new President and CEO of Inwido
The board of Inwido has appointed Fredrik Meuller as the new President and CEO. He will take office after agreement but no later than 1 May, 2024.
"I’m proud and happy to be able to announce Fredrik Meuller as the new President and CEO", says Inwido's chairman of the board Per Bertland. "He is a competent leader and in his position as CEO of Nord-Lock Group he’s shown that he has a deep understanding of how to create both organic and acquisition-driven growth in an international business. I am convinced that he will be able to further develop what Inwido has built up and lead the Group to new successes."
Fredrik Meuller, born in 1970, has been CEO for over five years at Latour-owned Nord-Lock Group. Before that, in addition to a background in investment banking and management consulting, he has solid experience from the industrial sector with, for example, 16 years in various leading positions within the Trelleborg Group, including as Business Area President for Trelleborg Offshore & Construction.
"I am very happy to accept this challenge," says Fredrik Meuller. "Inwido is a company with a proven strong track record. The company finds itself in an exciting time when the EU increasingly turns its focus to energy efficiency measures where windows and doors are at the center. I look forward to working together with the Group Management, other employees and the Board to take the next step in developing the Group."
Fredrik Meuller succeeds Henrik Hjalmarsson who, after five years as President and CEO at Inwido, takes on a similar role at OptiGroup.
