Inwido completes acquisition of shares outstanding in Outrup Vinduer & Døre from Denmark

Inwido, Europe’s largest supplier of windows, has now completed the acquisition of the outstanding 75 percent of shares in the Danish window and door company, Outrup Vinduer & Døre.  

Outrup manufactures and sells windows and doors in wood and wood/aluminum for the Danish market. The company has a strong position, mainly in the carpentry market, and is focused on energy-efficient and modern window and door solutions. 

Since August 2016, Inwido has held 25 percent of the shares in Outrup. In accordance with what was announced on 4 July 2016, Inwido is now acquiring a further 65 percent of the shares. The parties have also agreed to bring forward the acquisition of the remaining 10 percent, meaning that Inwido now owns 100 percent of the company. Outrup has around 150 employees and production takes place at the factory in Outrup on the island of Mors, Denmark. Sales in 2017 amounted to approximately DKK 203 million.
