Glenside Commercials extends relationship with Iveco

Caerphilly-based Glenside Commercials has marked a decade as an authorised Iveco repairer by being awarded the full Iveco sales, service and parts franchise for South East Wales – with immediate effect.
Glenside Commercials operates from a striking £1.6 million purpose-built dealership which opened in August 2012 and is conveniently located just 10 miles north of Cardiff and eight miles from Newport. Previously based just one mile away, the new dealership occupies a 1.4 acre site and is strategically positioned to support fleets across the region.
The facility incorporates a dedicated showroom for Iveco’s light commercial vehicle range and four full-length drive-through workshop bays. It also benefits from a dedicated ATF lane where statutory HGV and PSV testing is carried out by VOSA staff.
Glenside Commercials Managing Director, Mark Lovering, says: “With 10 years’ experience as an authorised repairer, we already have extensive knowledge of the full Iveco product range and have built up a loyal customer base. Adding the sales and parts portfolio is a natural step forward as we continue to grow our business with Iveco.

To meet the demands of the increased role, Glenside Commercials is taking on nine new staff, including dedicated truck and van sales people and additional administration resources. The company is also adding three new parts delivery vehicles to its fleet, which will complement the two Assistance Non-Stop vans already in service.

Glenside Commercials’ dealership in Caerphilly offers Saturday morning servicing, plus Sunday opening by appointment. Its Assistance Non-Stop technicians are on-call to cover the South East Wales area 24/7.
