With just sixteen days until the start of the Dakar 2014, Iveco has launched a new section for its website, dedicated to keeping the keenest motorsport fans up to speed with all Iveco’s Dakar news: www.iveco.com/dakar

The site will allow fans to uncover all the secrets of the Iveco De Rooy Petronas team vehicles in the build-up to the rally, and then follow the event step by step with daily updates from South America. Available in English and Spanish, it will be updated daily with Team Iveco’s results and performance data, plus multimedia content transmitted directly from the event.

A special section of the website – “From Dakar to your job” – offers Iveco customers the chance to discover more about the Trakker, Iveco’s heavy-duty truck range for demanding on/off road missions. Built to operate on rugged and challenging terrain, the vehicle provides robustness and reliability combined with the power of the FPT Industrial Cursor engines.

Entitled "the Odyssey", the 2014 Dakar rally will be one of the longest and most challenging in recent years, crossing through three countries: Argentina, Bolivia and Chile. It will begin on 5 January 2014 from Rosario in Argentina and end on 18 January in Valparaiso, Chile.
