Iveco and in-house finance arm Iveco Capital have jointly launched a new flexible hire product designed to give heavy truck operators greater flexibility on contract hire terms.

Named ‘Flexi Hire’, it reduces the financial risk to a customer of acquiring a vehicle on long term contract hire, when their requirement for that vehicle might subsequently end before the contract term has elapsed.

Flexi Hire contracts are available from Iveco dealers nationwide on specific Stralis models, but others can be considered on request. They offer fixed monthly payments over five years, with annual mileages between 100,000 and 180,000 km.

The Flexi Hire product includes scheduled servicing, maintenance and repair carried out by manufacturer-trained technicians, plus tyre replacement and the option for future Road Fund Licence. Customers can exercise a break option with three months written notice effective from the relevant anniversary (either 12, 24, 36 or 48 months as determined by the selected initial break point), or annually thereafter.

Marta Nappo, Marketing Director of Iveco UK, says: “We are introducing Flexi Hire in response to operators calling for greater flexibility to increase and decrease their fleet size according to their own business demands.

“Flexi Hire combines all the benefits of operating a brand new vehicle, but with costs spread over five years and the ability to return the vehicle at pre-agreed periods, without additional financial penalty.”

Flexi Hire contracts are subject to approval and are available to business users only.  Customers can obtain written quotations from Iveco Capital on request.  Iveco Capital Terms & Conditions apply – please visit www.ivecovehicles.co.uk for full details.
