JM has acquired five properties and signed a conditional agreement for an additional two properties in the Segeltorp industrial zone of Huddinge municipality. The properties are estimated to have the possibility of developing approximately 600 residential units in a future detailed plan. The acquisition of the five properties amounts to approximately SEK 270m, with payment in the second quarter of 2022.

The acquired properties consist of office and business premises comprising around 7,000 square meters of rentable space. The transactions are reported as acquisitions of development properties in the JM Bostad Stockholm business segment in the second quarter of 2022.

In addition to the above acquisitions, a conditional agreement has been reached to acquire two additional properties in the same area following the approval of a detailed plan.

Segeltorp is a priority development area in Huddinge municipality, which is being designed for new residential development in connection with the expansion of Spårväg Syd tramway. The properties are estimated to facilitate the development of approximately 600 residential units with expected production start in 2027.

“JM is currently investing in a new development area in Segeltorp, which is an excellent location for housing that offers superb communications, services, schools, preschools as well as attractive neighboring residential areas. The acquired properties are located centrally in the area and close to the planned station for the new cross-city tramway,” says Elin Blixt, Regional Manager at JM Bostad Stockholm Syd.
