AN Award-winning property developer and landlord is set to become a familiar face after being signed by a national newspaper to provide expert advice to property investors.

Phil Stewardson, of Stewardson Developments, was approached by the Daily Telegraph to become their ‘Property Doctor’ and appears in their pages every Saturday answering questions from readers.

Phil, 51, said: “I have worked in property investment and development for the last 21 years so have dealt with a vast array of property and letting issues. Even now with the issues around Brexit we are still buying and expanding our portfolio.

“But that said every day is still a learning curve. There’s so much that can happen in the world of property.

“It was very flattering to be asked and hopefully recognises the fact that the business is successful, still growing and has a good reputation. We pride ourselves on being able to take on any property, regardless of issue and resolve the problems.”

Phil runs Stewardson Developments, based in Cradley heath, West Mids, with his brother Mark, they have won numerous Landlord of the Year awards and been recognised for their green credentials.

Together they have a portfolio of over 100 residential and commercial properties across the West Midlands and for the past 18mths have been expanding the portfolio into the North West.

Anna White, head of Property at the Daily Telegraph, said: “The Telegraph Money desk have long relied on Phil's expertise in the lettings market so he was an obvious choice.

“Phil has a vast knowledge which would be useful to our readers, many of whom invest in property. He’s proving an asset and a real hit with his audience.”
