Award-winning Sale business The Window Company, struck the right chord this week launching a charity fundraising gig.

The family run operation has already risen over £3,500 for local cause The Alex Hulme Foundation. They now hope to break the £5,000 barrier with their latest event taking place in Ashton on Mersey’s Cricket Club on June 20th.

Managing Director of The Window Company, Wayne Shaw said, “The band night is all about bringing our community together. We’re all working as one to raise awareness for a charity that is close to our hearts.”

“Every year we do our best to back all kinds of charities. This year we have been focusing our efforts helping The Alex Hulme Foundation. The organisation aims to prevent child fatalities for those diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.”

“We’re touched to have so much support from local bands and businesses, supplying us with their services to help us host the event. Guests can expect a wonderful evening with great atmosphere, top entertainment with all the admission costs going towards a good cause.”

The band night is the third and final instalment of The Window Company’s WashRockRun campaign and features three local bands and a BBQ from Ashton-on-Mersey restaurant The Fat Loaf.

Since January, Wayne and his team have raised over £1,000 doing a car wash, and £2,500 taking part in various sponsored runs including the Manchester 10K and the Manchester Marathon.

Tickets for the night cost £15, with 100% of the price going to The Alex Hulme Foundation. To book now call: 07878 193 499, or email Wayne at: info@the-windowco.co.uk
