    Kährs Group in research collaboration for a more effective raw material utilization

    Kährs Group, a Swedish Europe-leading manufacturer of wood flooring and PVC-free resilient flooring, is participating in the industrial graduate school, ProWOOD. The aim is to promote innovation and increase the competitiveness of the Swedish wood industry through a research project, in which ten PhD students will conduct research at each participating company for five years.     Study proves wood’s positive impact on human beings

    Now, it’s been scientifically proven that wood has a positive impact on us. The European research project Wood2New, which ran for three years and was finalised in February 2017, shows that using wood as a construction material benefits both the environment and our health.     Kährs Group in research project aimed at developing smart floors

    Smart wood floors as part of the digital home, featuring a number of intelligent floor-related functions; from facilitating everyday life to a quick change of looks.
