Kappahl is continuing their venture of innovative and modular fashion, launching a new modular garment in the autumn of 2023 – a dress you can style and wear in 12 different ways. The aim is to further inspire customers to challenge the way we build and utilize our wardrobe.

- Taking a long-lasting, timeless approach and creating fashion with multiple uses is another way of developing our design philosophy. For us, it is not just about the garment itself, it is about embracing the future and exploring new ways of dressing, says Louise Plato, Designer at Kappahl.

The innovation dress is made from recycled polyester and takes the modular fashion aspect a step further by offering 12 looks in one. Its construction is made up by four separate, easy-to-pair pieces that can be adapted into different looks. Each piece can also easily be and worn on their own and pared with other garments. Fit for a wardrobe of long-lasting styles with a fashionable twist, merging the interest and importance of a changing industry with the creativity and fun of fashion.

During the design process, innovative details were developed to maximise styling options. The dress can be effortlessly adapted from timelessly classic to a more dressed-up look to suit many occasions in life.

- Kappahl is transitioning to a sustainable business model, and we are doing so in two main areas. One is to manufacture clothes in a way that has less negative impact on our planet and on people. The second is to design and offer garments that can be used more times and have a longer lifespan, both in terms of design and areas of use as well as materials. This dress is an excellent example of both, concludes Kappahl's Sustainability Director Sandra Roos.

The dress is currently available in a deep lilac and part of a continuing project of innovative fashion at Kappahl. The dress will be available online during week 42.

About Kappahl
Kappahl exists to celebrate diversity in everyday life. We want to broaden the definition of diversity to include many different ways of living life – empowering people to always stay true to themselves.

Founded in 1953 in Gothenburg, Sweden, the Kappahl Group is a leading fashion chain in the Nordics, with around 360 Kappahl and Newbie stores in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland and the UK, and online in more than 20 markets throughout Europe.

The Kappahl team consists of some 4,000 colleagues in nine countries, all with different backgrounds, ages, skills and styles. Our common motivation is to offer fashion fit for life to a wide variety of people and lifestyles. A responsible fashion that that feels right, for the bearer and for the world we live in. Today, more than 80% of the products are made of certified and/or preferred materials - and the goal is for 100% by 2025. Kappahl's overall climate goal is to halve the value chain's climate emissions by 2030.
