Report this content

On 31 March, Keliber released the Sustainability Review 2021. The Review includes all current operations and describes operational activities for the year 2021. Material topics being for example, Occupational safety measures; Water management; CO2 emissions management, Community management, and Biodiversity.

GRI Standards and UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDG) are the most used frameworks in the mining and chemicals sectors. GRI Standards could be the most suitable sustainability reporting standards framework for Keliber, allowing for comprehensive reporting on material topics’ impacts on business and surrounding society. The SDGs are also important, and further validation of which SDGs to prioritise will be performed before the production start.

Certain information contained or incorporated by reference in the Sustainability Review, including any information as to our sustainability approach, projects, plans, or future financial or operating performance, constitutes forward-looking statements.

Keliber intends to publish a Sustainability Review once a year.
