KONE to equip a new commercial building next to historic Leadenhall Market in the City of London

KONE Corporation, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has won an order to supply a suite of People Flow® solutions, including 25 elevators and two escalators, for One Leadenhall, a new high-end commercial building next to historic Leadenhall Market in the City of London area.
This 35-story tower will provide panoramic views at every level and a free public terrace. It is expected that the building will accommodate and treat around 4500 people. The building will become an integral part of the city, embracing the heritage of the neighboring Leadenhall Market.
KONE's delivery includes 19 KONE MiniSpace™ elevators, four KONE MonoSpace® elevators, two KONE JumpLift™ elevators and two KONE TravelMaster™ escalators. All 15 passenger elevators will be equipped with KONE Office Flow solution with KONE E-Link™ service as well as KONE Destination control system for reduced waiting and travelling times.

The building is being developed by Brookfield Properties. The Construction Manager is Multiplex, and the leading architects are MAKE and Adamsons.
The project is expected to be completed in late 2024.
KONE booked the order in the fourth quarter of 2021.
