About Us

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is the official tourism board of the Republic of Korea (South Korea). The KTO is headquartered in Korea and is sectioned into 5 divisions, 16 departments and 52 centers/teams. It also has 9 domestic offices and 33 overseas offices.The KTO seeks to raise awareness of, and increase global interest in Korea as a dynamic and exciting tourism destination. This involves promoting balanced tourism across all regions and highlighting diverse themes including history, cultural heritage, nature/adventure, food and the Korean Wave (Hallyu). The organization also strives to support growth and innovation across the tourism industry and enhance the quality and variety of tourism experiences on offer, while strengthening focus on responsible and sustainable practices across the sector.
