Kungsleden’s Chief Executive Biljana Pehrsson has been recognised as “Female Role Model of the Year in the Property Sector.” Biljana shares this award with John Mattson’s CEO Siv Malmgren.

Now in its tenth consecutive year, the award was made by the Swedish Property Federation in partnership with property magazine Fastighetsnytt. Its aim is to raise the profile of female executives, to inspire more women to take on more demanding and responsible positions.

The jury’s motivation was as follows:
“Biljana Pehrsson has solid domestic and international experience in property development and investments. Her documented, far-reaching expertise and personal impact have enabled her to take on the role as Chief Executive of a major listed property company. Biljana is courageous, daring to take on new challenges—she’s a role model for women in the sector.”

“Receiving this award is a great honour. Many previous holders are women that I’ve viewed as role models, so I’m really pleased and grateful,” commented Biljana Pehrsson.
