Growing interest in Kungsleden’s Oxel in Norrköping

Interest in Kungsleden’s Oxel, a part of Oxelbergen 1:2 property in Norrköping is growing. Norrköping Municipality, FläktGroup and the newest tenant, Lundgrens el, will occupy floor space totalling approximately 1,100 sq.m. The leases correspond to an annual rental value of approximately SEK 2.4 million.

“Oxelbergen is a property with a prime location in a stimulating environment that is very well suited to us as a modern electrical company,” says Henrik Hermansson, owner of Lundgrens el.

“The continued interest in Oxel is confirmation that the ongoing modernisation and enhancement project is a success. Our goal is for the Oxelbergen property to be an attractive and inspiring workplace for our tenants and their employees, with a focus on sustainability. For example, the property will be supplied with electricity from a new solar panel system and the car parks will have charging stations for electric cars,” says Mats Eriksson, Regional Manager Västerås/Mälardalen at Kungsleden.

The property is being marketed under the “Feel Good Working” concept. With this concept, Kungsleden wants to create attractive and sustainable premises that inspire people and encourage an active lifestyle. The concept involves the property offering smart solutions, common meeting rooms, a lounge, a coffee shop and an inspiring outdoor environment.

Kungsleden modernises and refurbishes a total of approximately 5,900 sq.m. of leasable office space in the property. The tenants are scheduled to gain access to the property in the second quarter of 2020.
