Kungsleden divests three properties in Köping and Norrtälje
Kungsleden divests the property Midgård 12 in Köping as well as the properties Handelsmannen 1 and Storsten 2 in Norrtälje. The total sales price amounts to SEK 97 m. Following the divestments, Kungsleden leaves both Köping and Norrtälje lowering the geographical presence to 64 municipalities.
Kungsleden AB (publ) divests the non-strategic properties Midgård 12 in Köping as well as Handelsmannen 1 and Storsten 2 in Norrtälje.
Midgård 12 is located in central Köping and consists of 3,500 sqm retail and office space. The property is sold to Sterner Stenhus Fastigheter and closing will take place on May 2.
The project property Handelsmannen 1 and the industry and retail property Storsten 2 are both located in central Norrtälje. The properties have a combined leasable area of approximately 9,900 sqm. Handelsmannen 1 has a 75% vacancy level. Both properties are sold to Genova Property Group and closing will take place on July 1.
The total sales price amounts to SEK 97 m which is in line with book value. Kungsleden will leave the municipalities of Köping and Norrtälje following the deals, lowering Kungsleden’s geographical presence to 64 municipalities.
