Kungsleden fully leases property in Högsbo, Gothenburg
Kungsleden has signed a ten-year lease contract for 2,000 sq.m in Högsbo, Gothenburg, with Brick Gym. This means that Kungsleden’s 27:9 property in Högsbo, comprising a total of 9,300 sq.m, has now been fully leased.
The new gym will open in September and the contract will run for ten years. The property is now fully leased at an annual rental value of approximately SEK 12 million.
“I am very pleased to have now fully leased our property in Högsbo. This mix of tenants will contribute to creating a bustling and vibrant neighbourhood at all times of the day. A new gym combined with previously signed contracts for a paddle tennis arena and school will be very beneficial for all tenants,” says Ulrica Sjöswärd, Regional Manager Gothenburg/Malmö at Kungsleden.
The area is centrally located and characterised by a sense of entrepreneurialism, with many new business start-ups. Tenants include Peabskolan, an upper secondary school that trains carpenters, masons, and construction and concrete workers, and PDL Group, which aims to create one of Northern Europe’s largest arenas for paddle tennis.
“It feels great to open a unique, first-rate gym facility in Högsbo and I’m particularly pleased with the location next to PDL Center. This will be a place where people can meet, exercise and enjoy themselves together. We are building a fitness destination,” says Owe Grüneberger, founder of Brick Gym.
