Kungsleden leases 2,600 sq.m. to Ahlsell

Kungsleden has signed a long-term lease contract with Ahlsell, which plans to open a new store in Gärdet, Stockholm.

 

'“We are delighted to welcome Ahlsell to our premises on Tegeluddsvägen, which will now be remodelled for their operations. It is positive that more companies are discovering the Gärdet/Värtahamnen area, which is undergoing a major change and is an area that we believe strongly in. That is why we have just recently moved our own head office to the area,” says Sven Stork, Regional Manager Stockholm.

Ahlsell will move into the Stettin 5 property, which is located on Tegeluddsvägen 82. The company is the leading Nordic distributor of installation products, tools and supplies and has more than 100 stores in Sweden. Access is scheduled for March 2022 and the lease contract extends up to and including 2027.

“Ahlsell’s long-term investments in it store network for professionals is continuing. To even better meet our customers’ future needs, we are now expanding our operation by adding a new state-of-the-art facility. All with the aim of making our customers’ everyday lives easier,” says Claes Seldeby, CEO, Ahlsell Sverige AB.

The Stettin 5 property is included in Kungsleden’s strategic Stockholm City East cluster. Kungsleden owns four properties in the cluster comprising office space of approximately 85,000 sq.m.
