Kungsleden leases 4,063 sq.m. in Örjan in Västerås
Kungsleden has successfully negotiated a lease contract with Svenska Takelement for the company to increase its existing floor space from 1,100 sq.m. to 4,063 sq.m. in the Örjan 1 property in Västerås. The lease has a term of five years and means that the property is almost fully leased.
Svenska Takelement is increasing its existing floor space from 1,100 sq.m. to 4,063 sq.m. in Kungsleden’s Örjan 1 property. The annual rental value will increase from SEK 930,000 to SEK 3.5 million.
“Our cluster strategy means that we can help our tenants to grow in our current property portfolio, and we are pleased with the continued confidence that Svenska Takelement has shown in us. Since a major player vacated the property in 2018, we have added interesting tenants who provide the area with variation and a range of services,” says Mats Eriksson, Regional Manager Mälardalen at Kungsleden.
Solar panels will be installed later in the year and the area features a padel venue and gym serving lunch.
“Demand for our roof components has increased because we offer a roofing system that provides an airtight building quickly. We are delighted about this and to meet market demand, we therefore need to increase our floor space to enable higher production capacity. The location is perfect for us and being able to grow without moving will be convenient and cost efficient,” says Göran Petersén, CEO of Svenska Takelement.
