Kungsleden leases to rapidly expanding international company in the gaming industry
Kungsleden leases to Fractal Design, a leading manufacturer of PC gaming products in Högsbo, Gothenburg. The lease contract, which has a duration of five years, comprises 1,268 sq.m. of office space across one and a half floors renovated to the highest standard.
Fractal Design, market leader within components for gaming computers in many geographical markets, will relocate its head office to the newly renovated premises in the Monilen office property at Viktor Hasselblad’s gata 16. The recently listed company has grown rapidly since it was established in 2007 and started to look for more spacious office premises more than a year ago. The choice finally fell to Kungsleden’s newly renovated, ultra-modern Monilen property.
“We have quite simply outgrown our current home in conjunction with the company’s positive development, in terms of sales, product expansion and organization – and we are now entering the next phase of Fractal Design’s growth journey. Kungsleden offered premises with the right specifications and the opportunity to put our mark on them from the beginning, specifically in relation to our own purposes and operations. Our new office is also located in an attractive area with proximity to the inner city and traffic routes. The relocation to the new premises means a great deal for the company’s continued development, everything from having modern facilities equipped to the highest standard for product testing and development, to creating an inviting environment for current and future employees that promotes cooperation and provides inspiration,” says Alexander Ernryd, CMO Fractal Design.
This lease entails that the property is now 50-per cent leased. Fractal Design will lease a total of 1,268 sq.m. across one and a half floors at an annual value of approximately SEK 2.5 million.
