Kungsleden has signed a five-year lease contract in the Tegnér 15 property in Växjö and welcomes Brödernas restaurant as its new tenant.

“Växjö is an attractive location for our restaurant as we look to expand outside of the Stockholm area. Together with Kungsleden, we have designed a modern, spacious restaurant in a central location,” says Joakim Wiklander, one of the founders and CEO of Brödernas.“We are delighted that Brödernas has chosen to establish its latest restaurant in one of our premises in Växjö. Together, we will create a new meeting place for the residents of Växjö and contribute to the Tegnér building becoming part of a vibrant town centre,” says Ulrica Sjöswärd, Regional Manager at Kungsleden.

Brödernas was founded in Stockholm by the brothers Jonas and Joakim Wiklander in 2016, and now has 19 restaurants across Sweden. Together with the entrepreneurs Monir Kalgoum and the Swedish NHL professional Mika Zibanejad (New York Rangers), they are now expanding the restaurant chain to the south of Sweden.

The Tegnér 15 property also includes the Tegnér mall (Tegnérgallerian), which Kungsleden developed some years ago, and which makes up part of the main shopping area of central Växjö.
