After much success with the EchoKey, Echo Connect introduces its next product with plans for an Indiegogo launch.

BRACKNELL, UK – People own many assorted electronic devices, which require charging, and the ability to charge anywhere is becoming more likely with the installation of USB sockets throughout restaurants, offices, hotels, and even in vehicles. Instead of carrying around a charging cable for each device, Echo Connect is inviting individuals to carry a lightweight charging accessory in their pocket, purse, or on their keys. Since creating The EchoKey, the company has further developed its product line to introduce the first dual Android and iPhone charging key-ring accessory, the Echo Connect Plus Charge Key.

To start the production of the Connect Plus Charge Key, Echo Connect plans to launch an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign on February 28, 2015. The company intends to start manufacturing the charging keys in the middle of the campaign, as long as the mid-campaign goals are met. This will enable many backers to have their charging key delivered to them by the end of April in 2015. Supporters of the campaign also benefit from a reduced price of just $9 USD, while the product will retail at $29 USD.

The Echo Connect Plus Charge Key is the first of its kind to be approved by Apple for MFI production. It integrates both an MFI licensed lightning cable and a micro-USB key, allowing it to charge almost all mobile devices including digital cameras, tablets, smartphones, and more. The small charging accessory is built to last with a re-enforced hard plastic casing protecting the connectors. It can withstand the elements and resist wear and tear from carrying in a pocket or purse. The body of the charging accessory is flexible, allowing it to flex into any position necessary for use.

Echo Connect is concerned about providing a top quality product with built-in security. Therefore, the Echo Connect Plus Charge Key incorporates an automated internal switch, which will detect the type of device, whether it is Android or Apple, and will utilize that process and block the other. This ensures security for its user, as there cannot be two devices connected at the same time.
