Necksaviour, a Newly Developed Physical Therapy Product, Seeks Funds Through Indiegogo
In two weeks, Necksaviour received half its funding goal. The simple and affordable neck traction device can be used anywhere to treat neck pain and headaches.
LONDON,UK –Necksaviour is an advanced yet simple device developed by Epiphany Innovations, which can relieve neck pain due to arthritis, stiffness, disc problems, and a myriad of common injuries. It can even relieve tension related headaches. In an effort to make the neck traction device available to all, an Indiegogo campaign has been launched. Since its crowdfunding launch on May 6, 2014, the new product has raised over half its funding goal of £5,000 GBP. There is still time to support the campaign, which ends on July 5, 2014, and receive the desired product at a discount.
The founder of Epiphany Innovations, Wesley Marshall, wanted to develop an affordable product that is easy-to-use at home or anywhere to treat common neck pains and injuries. As a chartered Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who has practiced for 16 years, Marshall has witnessed the toll everyday life has placed on people’s necks. Many people sit at computers for lengthy times, commute to work, or spend leisure time doing physical activities such as cycling or playing musical instruments. The final product can treat the effects of these various activities by applying traction to the neck, a common practice performed by therapists. The therapy offered through the use of Necksaviour stretches soft tissue, relieves joint and nerve pressure, improves spine alignment, and increases blood flow to muscles. It is classed as a Grade 1 medical device and has been tested by the University of Hertfordshire.
Necksaviour can be used by anyone because of its adjustability. It offers two sides for various neck lengths, a short side and a long side. It also provides varying traction forces of 8 to 22 pounds, providing a strong or light stretch to the neck. The device is light, portable, and durable. Full instructions with details and care of products will be available on the company website: http://www.necksaviour.com.
For the past three years, Marshall has been developing the Necksaviour and has made a fully functioning prototype, along with the required molding tool necessary to produce a large quantity of the product. The funds raised through crowdfunding project will pay for full production of the device.
