Austrian-based SunnyBAG, Inc., launches its new product with a crowdfunding campaign offering discounts to early adopters.

GRAZ, AUSTRIA—GoPro cameras are designed to go anywhere and document epic adventures; however, as with any electronic device, the adventure has to stop when its battery is drained. Austrian solar bag company SunnyBAG has devised a solution with its new Action Case designed to both protect and charge a GoPro Action Cam as well as other devices that charge via USB port. SunnyBAG has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise $30,000 by December 31 in order to produce and distribute its new product.

SunnyBAG’s ecologically friendly Action Case is both weatherproof and solar powered and provides 3.15 Watts of power that can fully charge a GoPro camera in less than 100 minutes. The case, measuring 9.45 inches by 6.9 inches by 2.8 inches, contains one compartment especially for a GoPro Action Cam and four additional compartments to hold other electronic devices or battery packs, such as Google Glass, smartwatches, GPS devices, and digicams. The Action Case also contains a SunnyBAG brand PowerStick that can be charged by solar power and used at a later time.

“Our Action Case is the ideal charging station for those who spend a lot of time outdoors,” said Stefan Ponsold, Founder and CEO of SunnyBAG. “GoPro cameras and other wearables are very popular right now. We wanted to create a bag that would both protect and recharge those types of devices.”

SunnyBAG’s Action Case has been in development for the past six months. Now the company is ready to move forward with production and distribution, which is why it has launched a crowdfunding campaign. Supporters of the campaign will enjoy special wholesale pricing before the product goes retail. Supporters contributing $69 to the campaign will receive one SunnyBAG Action Case, while those contributing $89 will receive an Action Case and a SunnyBAG PowerStick. Contributors giving $169 will receive two Action Cases and two PowerSticks.

For those looking to distribute SunnyBAG products, they can support the campaign with $769 and receive 10 Action Cases, 10 PowerSticks, and 14 days of marketing support. For $3,739, supporters can receive 50 Action Bags, 50 PowerSticks, and 14 days of marketing support.
