Lantmännen Fastigheter and ED Gruppen form Lantstaden AB – leading property development in Norrköping's inner harbour
Lantstaden AB is being formed with the aim of jointly developing Norrköping's inner harbour. Lantstaden is a joint venture company owned by Lantmännen Fastigheter and ED Gruppen. This marks an important milestone in transforming the port area into a modern, attractive, and sustainable district that benefits both residents and businesses.
Lantstaden AB will, in close collaboration with Norrköping Municipality, develop and manage properties in Norrköping's inner and southern harbour – an area undergoing a major transformation into a vibrant district with housing, green areas, and commercial properties. Initially, the focus is on six properties: three residential projects and three properties for commercial activities.
An important part of the area's development is Norrköping Municipality's decision to build the new Johannisborg link.
“The location of the new Johannisborg link means that Lantmännen can maintain production operations in the port, while the bridge will be a natural boundary between the remaining industrial area and the new district," says Joachim Haas, CEO of Lantmännen Real Estate.
The collaboration through Lantstaden is a key part of transforming the port area into a modern, attractive, and sustainable district that benefits both residents and businesses.

Occupancy has already begun in some of the residential properties, while other properties are under construction. Work on the new Johannisborg link is expected to begin in 2025.

– Number of apartments: 180 apartments of 1 – 4 rooms with kitchen.
– Total area for commercial activities on the ground floor of the residential properties: 350 sqm.
– Construction and occupancy: Gradually starting in 2024.
