Lantmännen's divestment of Scandbio, which was communicated in mid-October, has now been approved by the relevant authorities and completed. Scandbio is thereby now owned by LEAG Group.

Scandbio is a producer of fuel pellets and has been part of Lantmännen since 2014. Today, Scandbio has production at five facilities in Sweden and one in Latvia. Sales are primarily in Sweden, Latvia, and Denmark.

The transaction involves the sale of all shares in Scandbio to LEAG Group. All 130 employees have transitioned to LEAG Group.

“Scandbio has developed very well within Lantmännen in recent years, and we would like to extend a big thank you to all employees within the company. LEAG Group is a good industrial home for Scandbio's continued development as an important player in the biomass industry,” says Magnus Kagevik, CEO and Group President of Lantmännen.
