New board members join Lantmännen

The Lantmännen Association Annual Meeting today included the election of new board members.  The meeting resolved to elect Kerstin Arnemo and Sonat Burman-Olsson as new board members, in line with the nomination committee proposal.

The Lantmännen Annual Association Meeting was held today, 7 May 2018, in Stockholm. The Meeting resolved that the Lantmännen Group Board should comprise nine directors elected at the meeting plus an employee representative.

The meeting resolved to re-elect board members Ulf Gundemark and Ove Gustafsson. The meeting also voted to elect Kerstin Arnemo and Sonat Burman-Olsson, as board members in line with the nomination committee proposal. Board members Thomas Magnusson and Pauline Lindwall, had announced that they did not wish to be at the disposal of the nomination committee.

The other members of the board are Per Lindahl, Hans Wallemyr, Gunilla Aschan, Johan Mattsson and Henrik Wahlberg. At the statutory meeting held after the association meeting, Per Lindahl was re-elected chair of the board and Hans Wallemyr was elected deputy chair.

Arnemo was born in 1958 and trained as a land surveyor. Her family lives on a farm property in Jämtland and is engaged in sheep farming. Arnemo is currently a director of Jämtkraft AB, Realbridge AB and Jämtlands saluhall ek för.

Arnemo is an experienced manager, director and consultant who has been involved in operational and consulting work in different sectors. These posts have included operations manager for Inlandsbanan AB, business manager for Elaton, Jämtkraft, project manager for the Mentor Programme Styrelsekraft i Norrland, and CEO of Östersund Automatsvarvning.

Sonat Burman-Olsson, born in 1958, is a Business Studies graduate and lives on Lidingö. Burman-Olsson is a highly experienced director, including as chair of Svensk Dagligvaruhandel. She is currently a director of Lindab AB, ICC Sweden, iZettle AB and PostNord.

Burman-Olsson has many years experience of working for companies in manufacturing industry and for groups oriented towards retailing and consumers. She was previously Group CEO and President of Coop Sweden, Deputy CEO and CFO of the ICA Group and Vice President, Global Marketing Strategies & Initiatives Electrolux Group.
