Niklas Lindberg, current head of Lantmännen’s Swecon Division, has been appointed new head of the Energy Division. He will replace Lars-Gunnar Edh, who will become the new head of the Agriculture Division. Tomas Börjesson, current CFO of Swecon, assumes the role of Acting Head of the Swecon Division.

Niklas has worked for Lantmännen since 2015; first as CFO for Swecon Sweden and then CFO for all of Swecon – and the past 5 years as Head of the Swecon Division. Prior to that, he has experience both from global groups and mid-size Swedish companies: among other things as Head Controller at Seco Tools, as CEO for a metallurgy company – and as CFO for the IL Recycling group.

Niklas assumes his new role on July 1, the same day that Lars-Gunnar Edh takes up the position of Head of the Agriculture Division.

”I am pleased that we have an internal replacement for the role of Head of the Energy Division. In his current position, as Head of the Swecon Division, Niklas has done a successful job with growing and developing the business into what it is today. He is a highly appreciated and skilled leader with long experience from Lantmännen and as part of our Group Management Team – experiences that will be well suited in his new role,” says Magnus Kagevik, Group President and CEO of Lantmännen.

“I’m proud of the trust placed in me to lead the Energy Division. I look forward to continuing to develop the businesses further together with all colleagues, and to working even closer to Lantmännen's core businesses. I would also like to thank all of the dedicated co-workers at Swecon, and I wish you all the best in future. I am pleased to hand over to Tomas, and confident that Swecon will continue its success story,” says Niklas Lindberg.

Tomas Börjesson, current CFO of Swecon, has been appointed Acting Head of the Swecon Division. Tomas has a solid background within both Lantmännen and Swecon, and has for many years been a central part of Swecon’s management team. Among other things, he has successfully led several acquisition and integration projects.
