Today, Lantmännen’s Annual General Meeting elected the people who will make up the Board of Directors. The Meeting voted in favor of the Nomination Committee’s proposal, which meant re-electing Gunilla Aschan, Jenny Bengtsson, Johan Bygge and Per Lindahl – and electing Patrick Aulin as a new board member.

During the Annual General Meeting, which was held today, May 3, in Stockholm, it was decided that Lantmännen’s Board of Directors will consist of nine members who are elected by the general meeting, and employee representatives. The meeting voted in favor of the Nomination Committee’s proposal, which meant re-electing Gunilla Aschan, Jenny Bengtsson, Johan Bygge and Per Lindahl – and electing Patrick Aulin as a new board member. Henrik Wahlberg had declined re-election before the meeting. Remaining members of the board are elected until the Annual General Meeting of 2024.

This means that Lantmännen’s Board of Directors consists of Per Lindahl, Jan Ehrensvärd, Gunilla Aschan, Jenny Bengtsson, Sonat Burman-Olsson, Johan Bygge, Jan-Erik Hansson, Per Wijkander and Patrick Aulin, as well as three employee representatives.

Patrick Aulin is 50 years old, and together with his father runs crop production on an area of some 600 hectares at Lilla Kungsladugården in Nyköping. Besides crop cultivation, operations also include rental of housing and business premises, contracting activities, and forestry. Patrick has been an elected official on the board of Lantmännen’s Sörmland district since 2013, and chairman of the district board since 2017.

“I’m honored by the confidence placed in me by the general meeting and I look forward to getting started with the work. My contribution to Lantmännen’s board is an entrepreneurial spirit, experience from the logistics area, and a holistic view regarding the grain value chain. I truly believe in the cooperative idea, and feel strongly for Lantmännen and its members,” says Patrick Aulin.

During the constituting board meeting after the general meeting, Per Lindahl was re-elected as Chairman of the Board, and Jan-Erik Hansson was elected as Vice Chairman.

“I want to wish Patrick a warm welcome as a new member of Lantmännen’s board. He will contribute with solid experience both from his own businesses and from his time as an elected official. I look forward to continuing to develop Lantmännen together with him and the rest of the board,” says Per Lindahl, Lantmännen’s Chairman of the Board.
