Record dividend for Lantmännen members
Lantmännen continues to contribute to the positive development of Swedish agriculture and is paying SEK 566 million in dividends to its owners, Swedish farmers. The dividend was resolved at the association annual meeting on 7 May in Stockholm. The dividend, a record amount, is thanks to Lantmännen’s positive growth in recent years.
“It pays to be a member of Lantmännen. Our owners, 25,000 Swedish farmers, will share a dividend that beats last year's record level. After 12 months as chair of the board, I can confirm that the Lantmännen model, a profitable and sustainable cooperative, is a winning concept. I am proud that Lantmännen, together with Swedish farmers, is contributing to make farming thrive and to a sustainable food chain,” says Per Lindahl, Chair of the Lantmännen Board.
The record dividend has been enabled by the profit Lantmännen delivered in 2017 and shows that the group is continuing to develop in a positive direction and in line with Lantmännen strategies. Lantmännen has advanced over the past decade and is now one of the largest farming cooperatives in Europe and one of the world's most modern and sustainable farming, food and bioenergy enterprises.

The annual meeting resolution to pay a dividend of SEK 566 million to Lantmännen's owners is in accordance with the board proposal and the dividend will be paid on 18 May this year.
