ANS history of the UAE

From 1st May, GAL and LFV will provide air navigation services at Abu Dhabi Airports Company airports in the UAE.  

Global Aerospace Logistics LLC, has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) and will operate the contract together with its partner LFV.
- The contract shows that the partnerships we have established with GAL are of world class, says Lars Hakansson, CEO LFV Aviation Consulting. We have won the contract in competition with the worlds most established and respected Air Traffic Services provider.
ADAC is operating five airports in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi International Airport is the main airport for the UAE's national airline Etihad. The airport has approximately 12.5 million passengers and 120,000 aircraft movements per year.
Abu Dhabi International Airport is ranked as one of the world's best airports, and recently received the award for best airport in the Middle East.

The aviation sector is growing on an annual basis and ADAC is forecasting a major growth in traffic and travel for the next coming years.
GAL and LFV will jointly execute the project and LFV is accounting for the experience to drive civilian Air Traffic Management. Air traffic controllers are both Emirate and foreign controllers, including employees from the LFV. The agreement with ADAC includes an option to extend for another two years.
