Lifco acquires Kefla in Germany
Lifco has signed an agreement to acquire a majority of the shares in the German company Kefla-Glas GmbH & Co. KG. Kefla develops and distributes specialized premium glass bottles sold to various industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
In the fiscal year 2022/23, Kefla reported net sales of approximately EUR 33 million. The company is based in Bingen am Rhein, Germany and has 38 employees. Kefla will be consolidated in Business Area Systems Solutions, division Special Products. Consolidation is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2023.
The acquisition will not have any significant effect on Lifco’s earnings or financial position in the current financial year.
