With a history of five generations of pioneers within the forest industry, Lignin Industries AB was founded in Sweden in 2018. Head office is in Knivsta, outside Stockholm. By using green chemistry to upcycle residual materials from the forest industry and with a vision to reshape the future of biobased plastics, Lignin Industries has developed a patented technology transforming lignin into a renewable, high-performance biopolymer, replacing traditional fossil-based plastics.
