    Lindab’s emission reduction targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative

    The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is an international framework for science-based climate targets in line with the Paris Agreement's goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C.     Lindab to close production of building products in the Czech Republic

    Lindab has previously announced that the Profile Systems business area, which manufactures building products, evaluates structural measures to increase profitability. As part of this restructuring, Lindab has decided to close the production of products for Profile Systems in the Czech Republic.Lindab currently has production facilities for both ventilation and building products in the Czech Republic. The ventilation business will remain unchanged, while the production of building products will be terminated at the end of the year. The closure will affect approximately 30 employees in

    Lindab’s sales increased by 3 percent and the Group reported the highest sales ever for a third quarter.     Lindab’s sales increased by 5 percent during the second quarter and reached the highest level ever for a single quarter. The operating margin improved to 9.6 percent.     Lindab complements its current operations in Denmark with the acquisition of Venti A/S.     Lindab delivers the world's first ventilation ducts in fossil-free steel to a construction project in Lund, Sweden

    Lindab will deliver the world's first ventilation ducts in fossil-free steel to an innovative construction project in Lund, Sweden. The real estate company Vectura is developing and managing the project, and Skanska handles the construction. The aim is for the property to be LEED Gold certified.The fossil-free steel comes from SSAB and is produced using the HYBRIT® technology. As one of few suppliers, Lindab has received a test delivery, which makes it possible to deliver products several years before the planned regular production of fossil-free steel, which is expected to begin in 2026.

    Lindab launches ventilation products in recycled steel with 62 percent lower climate impact

    Lindab takes another step towards reducing the climate impact of its products by extending the standard product range with ventilation ducts in recycled steel.
