    Financial update for the fourth quarter

    Lower than expected sales in December will have a negative impact on Lindab’s results for the fourth quarter.     Restructuring of Lindab in Eastern Europe to focus on ventilation

    Lindab is restructuring its operations in Eastern Europe in order to fully focus on profitable growth for the ventilation business in the region. As a consequence, business area Profile Systems is exiting Eastern Europe. Business operations within Ventilation Systems will continue as before in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and the Baltic States.Lindab has previously announced a strategic evaluation of the Eastern European operations in business area Profile Systems.     Structural measures and cost reductions in Lindab's operations

    Lindab is implementing structural measures and cost reductions, primarily within the ventilation business, in order to strengthen profitability and adjust the company's fixed costs.     Lindab has previously announced that the Profile Systems business area, which manufactures building products, evaluates structural measures to increase profitability. As part of this restructuring, Lindab has decided to close the production of products for Profile Systems in the Czech Republic.Lindab currently has production facilities for both ventilation and building products in the Czech Republic.     Lindab and Castellum are collaborating on duct systems in fossil-free steel for a renovation project in Stockholm, Sweden.
