Lindab Group has taken over the activities in Götze & Lauscher GmbH as from January 1 2004.

 

Götze & Lauscher is a producer of ventilation ducts in the German market, mainly rectangular but to some extent also circular. The company has its main production in Biere, outside Magdeburg and a minor production unit in Großlehna, near Leipzig. Götze & Lauscher has modern production equipment and facilities.

 

The activities of Götze & Lauscher will be fully integrated in Lindab Germany. Biere will continue as a production unit for rectangular duct systems. There will be set up a stock for circular products in order to serve the local market. The production of circular systems will be discontinued and integrated in Lindab Germany's production.

 

A one-stop-shop will be established in Großlena aiming to provide full service to customers in the Leipzig area.

 

The take over will strengthen Lindab's leading position in the German market for ventilation duct systems. The new business will increase Lindab's turnover with approx. 5 M € and the number of employees with 70. In total, Lindab Germany will reach a turnover of approx. 45 Mio € with 300 employees in 12 sites throughout Germany.
