Lindab acquires Danish Muncholm, specialists in products for tinsmiths
Lindab complements its current operations in Denmark with the acquisition of Muncholm A/S, Denmark's leading wholesaler for tinsmiths. Muncholm offers durable roof and facades solutions, as well as machinery. With the acquisition, Lindab will get an important direct channel to tinsmiths in Denmark.
Muncholm processes steel, zinc, copper and aluminium and offers solutions for roofs and facades. The company is a leader in aluminium facades and self-supporting roofs. They also have an extensive range of machines and tools. They are known for their high level of service and for offering support with drawings and construction expertise.
In Denmark, Lindab offers ventilation products and building products. The building products are today sold through retailers and not directly to tinsmiths. With the acquisition of Muncholm, Lindab gains established relationships with tinsmiths and architects in Denmark. Muncholm offers high-quality products that fit well into Lindab's product range.

Muncholm A/S was founded in 1979 and has its operations in Hadsten outside Aarhus in Denmark. Muncholm has annual sales of approximately SEK 250 million and 20 employees. The company's operating margin is in line with Lindab's operating margin.
The acquisition is subject to approval by the Danish anti-trust authorities. The transaction is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2022.
