Lindab has acquired a production unit of duct systems from Bravida A/S in Denmark.
The unit, localised in Ålborg, Jutland, is supplying products to the Danish market for use in buildings as well as in ships.

 

The acquisition will strengthen our market position in the area as well as improve the product range offered to the ship building industry. The acquisition will bring additional competence within stainless steel, which is of value to Lindab.

 

The number of employees in Ålborg amounts to 20 people. The acquired unit will generate positive EBIT and contribute with approximately 14 MDKK sales in 2004.
