Lindab acquisition in Switzerland within business area Ventilation Lindab has signed an agreement about the acquisition of the business of Bartholet AG in Wetzikon (Zurich), a Swiss ventilation company with three branch offices. Bartholet manufactures and sells round and oval ventilation duct systems. The operation employs about 100 people today and will be taken over on 4 October 1999. The acquisition is expected to increase sales of the Group's products in Switzerland. The purchase will not affect the earnings forecast for 1999. Grevie, 4 October 1999 Lindab AB (publ) Carl-Gustaf Sondén President, CEO Lindab AB, an international group of companies, develops, produces and markets products of sheet steel for two business areas; Ventilation for the environmental and ventilation sectors and Profile with a complete programme for the construction industry. Sales during 1998 amounted to SEK 3,300M and the number of employees was approximately 2,700.
