Lindab fulfils the offer on Folkebolagen

LINDAB FULFILS THE OFFER ON FOLKEBOLAGEN LINDAB DISPOSES OF 71 PERCENT OF THE CAPITAL AND 82 PERCENT OF THE VOTES IN FOLKEBOLAGEN Lindab AB has acquired more shares in Folkebolagen and has now 369.703 of the B-shares in Folkebolagen AB, which corresponds to 11 percent of the capital and 7 percent of the votes. Shareholders, representing 60 percent of the capital and 75 percent of the votes have committed themselves to accept Lindab's offer to the shareholders in Folkebolagen and to sell their shares to Lindab. This means that Lindab disposes of 71 percent of the share capital and 82 percent of the votes in Folkebolagen. Therefore Lindab has decided to remove its condition about the 90 percent limit of capital and votes. Accordingly the offer is now unconditional. The prospectus will be made public and sent out to shareholders in Folkebolagen on 29 May 2000. The acceptance period is 30 May - 20 June 2000.
