Lindab has signed letter of intent with a potential buyer of IMP Klima Group

Decision to close down IMP Klima Group has previously been announced

At the end of June, Lindab decided to close down IMP Klima Group, consisting of LINDAB, klima sistemi, d.o.o. in Slovenia and its subsidiaries in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina. The production of air handling units in Slovenia was planned to be discontinued by the end of 2020.

Discussions are ongoing with some potential buyers of IMP Klima Group. Lindab has today signed a letter of intent with one of these stakeholders. A short due diligence process will follow before a final divestment decision will be made.

IMP Klima Group consists of the legal entity in Slovenia “LINDAB, klima sistemi, d.o.o” and its subsidiaries. Sales in 2019 was SEK 269 m, reported as part of Business Area Ventilation Systems. IMP Klima Group has 226 employees, of which 212 employees in Slovenia and another 14 employees in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
