Lindab has received an order valued at approximately EUR 8 million for its building components division. This is the largest single order in Lindab's history.

Plodine, a leading Croatian supermarket chain, has chosen Lindab to supply building components to 62 of its stores. These include both new builds and existing units that are being refurbished. The order comprises a range of Lindab's component products, notably roof and wall claddings, as well as beams and purlins. Dispatches for this order have already started and will be staggered over a period of three years.

"We are obviously delighted that Plodine has chosen to work with Lindab for their expansion in the Croatian market. It is another sign of the strength of the Eastern European markets and our ability to meet the growing demands there," says Kjell Åkesson, CEO of Lindab.

"Lindab's range is superior in terms of design and, by offering a complete solution, this makes it a very efficient choice in every way, says Dozi Heberling, Managing Director of Plodine D.D.

"We recently completed an order for the 'facelift' of a supermarket in Rijeka 10 days ahead of schedule," says Sasa Kolaric, Business Unit Manager, Lindab Croatia. "We are now looking forward to providing the same levels of service for all of the 62 buildings," concludes Sasa Kolaric.
