LIQUI MOLY now on two wheels
The oil and additive specialist is putting its range of motorcycle products on the market - sold through the Bike it network
January 2017 – To date LIQUI MOLY has been known particularly in the automotive branch. Now the oil and additive specialist is putting is product range for motorcycles on the market in Great Britain. “Here we can use all of our nearly 60 years of experience”, said Ibrahim Memis, who is responsible for Great Britain at LIQUI MOLY. Sales are handled by the Bike it network.
The range includes a variety of motor oils for motorcycles: for two and four stroke engines, for road and cross-country machines, for racing and for old motorcycles. And LIQUI MOLY is one of the few suppliers of additives produced especially for motorcycles: to remove deposits in the engine, to protect against wear and extreme loads and get more power from the engine. “These additives are tailor-made for motorcycles”, said Ibrahim Memis.
As with its automotive range, LIQUI MOLY’s strategy in the motorcycle segment is to offer a wide assortment of chemical products. “That is why, in addition to motor oils and additives, we also offer fork oils, gear oils, chain spray, leather protection agents and much more”, continued Ibrahim Memis. “We offer every motorcyclist all chemical products for two-wheelers from one company.”
Sales are handled by the Bike it network. The official starting shot for collaboration with Bike it is the Motorcycle Trade Expo in January. Here dealers have an opportunity to obtain all information about the products and their use.
Motorcycles are not a new field for LIQUI MOLY. All teams in the Moto2 and Moto3 racing series have depended on the quality of LIQUI MOLY motor oil for years. “And what has proven itself on the race track, certainly offers protection and reliability in everyday applications as well”. confirmed Ibrahim Memis.
