Statoil, Reitan and Apoteksgruppen are further names which have chosen Loomis to provide cash handling services
Loomis has continued to enter into new agreements in Sweden during September, meaning that several companies, which have been affected by the changes in the Swedish cash handling industry, can now feel safe in knowing that they have secured a long-term, well-functioning solution for the handling of their cash. The oil and gas company Statoil, Apoteksgruppen and the retail group Reitan (which conducts the franchising of brands such as Pressbyrån and 7-eleven), to name a few, are among Loomis’ new clients. These agreements, all for cash handling services, are to begin immediately. Loomis’ new clients during September together constitute an order value of just over MSEK 100 per year. In addition, negotiations are also underway with other companies. The agreements represent a strengthening of Loomis’ leading position as the specialist in cash handling.
Patrik Högberg, Country President of Loomis Sverige AB, stated, “We have increased our production capacity, the administrative elements have run smoothly and, not least, we have set aside significant resources to undertake risk assessments on, in principle, each object (retail store) – all so that we are able to implement our new contracts as quickly and as effectively as possible for each and every new client”.
